When my wife and I along with our grandson arrived at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for the 5 p.m. Mass after the recent snowstorm, I was disappointed to see that there had been no snow removal from the curb so that a person could park and get to the sidewalk comfortably. This caused a few people to be stuck when trying to back away from the curb after church.

The sidewalk and parking lots had been cleared, obviously by our church maintenance people.

I realize our church and school and many other churches are not on emergency routes, but I, along with probably many other taxpayers, feel the city could gives us a little help in this respect. They already had two days to get to more important areas, such as the sports complex, the city parks and the municipal golf course parking lot, to name a few. Something is wrong with the priorities here.
