Maxiline "Max" Kisner, 83, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, at Hays Medical Center.
She was born April 8, 1931, in Vincent to Henry M. and Catherine (Dechant) Huser.
She married Lloyd J. Kisner on Sept. 19, 1950, in Vincent. She was a homemaker and a cake decorator for more than 40 years.
She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and VFW Auxiliary, both of Hays. She enjoyed her flower gardening.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; three daughters, Dian Watz and husband, David, Winchester, Ky., Cora Woods and husband, Tom, Bennington, and Bonnie Rupke and husband, Robert, Hays; two brothers, Julian Huser and wife, Norma, and Leon Huser, all of Vincent; four sisters, Armella Riedel-Schmidt and Stella Braun and husband, Albert, all of Hays, Henrietta Herl and husband, Don, Salina, and Arlene Wittman and husband, Warren, Victoria; a sister-in-law, Lucille Huser-Knoll, Hays; four grandchildren, Michael Kisner, Dustin Rupke (Sheila), Daisha Alderson (Matt) and Nichole Peck (Josh); and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Earl Huser; two infant brothers, Gregory and Julian Gregory Huser; two sisters, Catherine Waldschmidt-Mermis and Lenora Thomas; an infant sister, Mary Huser; and a great-grandchild, Carleah Jo.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Hays.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Monday, all at the mortuary.
A Hays VFW Auxiliary memorial service and rosary will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at Cline's Mortuary of Hays, 1919 E. 22nd, Hays, KS 67601.
A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
