Beverly B. Baldwin, 88, La Crosse, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, at Via Christi Village, Hays.

He was born April 27, 1927, in La Crosse, to Ross G. and Edythe Marie (Littler) Baldwin. He was a lifelong resident of Rush County and a 1944 graduate of La Crosse Rural High School.

He married Viola M. Moeder on Aug. 28,1952, in Hoisington. She preceded him in death Nov. 24, 2002. He was a farmer and employed by Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) for 27 years, prior to retirement. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church, La Crosse.

He enjoyed hunting, bowling, watching sports, traveling, and listening to polka music.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Baldwin and wife, Corinne, McCracken, and Robert Baldwin and wife, DeAnn, Hays; two daughters, Karen Aufdemberge and husband, Gary, Wamego, and Sharon Nottingham, Lawrence; 10 grandchildren, Roger Baldwin, Pamela David, Erin Aufdemberge, Hope Aufdemberge, Haley Aufdemberge, Courtney Nottingham, Brandon Nottingham, Tandra Reif, Kiersha DeBey, and Ranisha Reif; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Donna Lobmeyer; and a brother, Norman Baldwin.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church, La Crosse; burial in La Crosse City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday with family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at Janousek Funeral Home, La Crosse and from 10 to 10:50 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to Rush County Fair or National Parkinson Foundation, in care of the funeral home.
