Sandy K. Schindler, 65, died Sunday, June 19, 2016.

She was born October 3, 1950, in Alma, Neb.

She was a member of the Goddard Library Board and Goddard Baptist Church.

She enjoyed spending time with family, her dogs Boomer and Gretchen, and pool time during the summer.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Marvin Schindler; two sons, Chuck and fiancÚ, Krystin Saviolidis, Fern Park, Fla., and Nickolas Schindler, Goddard; a daughter, Renae Albert and husband, Bill, Wichita; a stepson, Robert Wise, Stockton; her grandchildren, Brandon and Christian Schindler, Danielle (Matthew Tweedy) Rodman and Christopher Pike; two step-grandchildren, Andy (Maegan) Albert and Emily Albert; three great-grandchildren, Braydon, Andrew, and Lincoln Tweedy; and a step-great-grandchild, Aria Albert.

She was preceded by her parents, Floyd and Helen Karnopp; two brothers, Ron and Dick Karnopp; and a sister, Dot Beach.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Resthaven Mortuary Wichita; burial will be Thursday in Stockton.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
