Hays High School will present the Pulitzer Prize-winning play "Harvey" at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday in 12th Street Auditorium.
The play, written by Mary Chase, revolves around Elwood P. Dowd and his pal Harvey, a 6-foot, 1.5-inch invisible rabbit.
"Harvey" appeared on Broadway in 1944 and was later a movie starring Jimmy Stewart and Josephine Hull.
Cast members are Conrad Hoffman, Elwood; Shelbie Berens, Veta; and Anniston Weber, Myrtle Mae. The sanitarium staff is played by Max Befort, Jared Thom, Madison Crees and Jacob Balzer. Other cast members are Rachael Arthur, Amiyah Gonzales, Sarah Rooney, Sylina Zhang and Trent Potter.
Several other students are members of the production crew.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students in advance, and $6 for adults and $4 for students at the door.
