LOGAN An accident at the junction of U.S. Highway 40 and U.S. Highway 83 on Wednesday afternoon injured two men.

Kenneth Michael Glass, 65, Bismarck, N.D., was southbound on U.S. 83 driving a Dodge passenger car and failed to yield right-of-way at a stop sign, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol report.

His vehicle collided with a westbound semi on U.S. 40, driven by James C. Boyd, 33, Jackson, Miss.

Boyd was wearing a safety restraint, and Glass was not, according to the accident report.

Both men were taken to Logan County Hospital with injuries.
