LOGAN — An accident at the junction of U.S. Highway 40 and U.S. Highway 83 on Wednesday afternoon injured two men.
Kenneth Michael Glass, 65, Bismarck, N.D., was southbound on U.S. 83 driving a Dodge passenger car and failed to yield right-of-way at a stop sign, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol report.
His vehicle collided with a westbound semi on U.S. 40, driven by James C. Boyd, 33, Jackson, Miss.
Boyd was wearing a safety restraint, and Glass was not, according to the accident report.
Both men were taken to Logan County Hospital with injuries.
