Rosie F. Peschka, 92, Wilson, died Friday, May 27, 2016, at Heartland Haven, Inman.

She was born Jan. 12, 1924, in Barton County to Frank and Mary T. (Schreiber) Pelz. She graduated from Hoisington High School.

She moved to her farmstead south of Wilson in 1951. In her later years, she was a dedicated employee of Eschbaugh Advertising, Wilson. She was the caretaker and peacemaker of her sisters, children, grandchildren and a farm woman, mom, and grandma.

She was a member of the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and Altar Society in Wilson.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Peschka and wife, Karen, Wilson, Randall Peschka and wife, Nancy, Ellsworth; two daughters, Linda Nowlin and Al Slechten, Burleson, Texas, and Karen Peschka and Bea Gotschall, Geneseo; a sister, Kathryn Mater six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Eleanor Riedl and Shirley Pelz.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Wilson; burial in St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery.

Friends can call from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday with family present to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Foster Funeral Chapel, Wilson.

A vigil/rosary will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church or Wilson Senior Center, in care of the mortuary.
