Fort Hays State University Police today received notice of an alleged sexual assault that occurred in the early morning hours Sunday in one of the residence halls on campus. An investigation has begun, and no additional information is available at this time.
This is an actual report. It is not related in any way to the active-shooter exercise that is taking place on campus today.

In the case of an emergency, call 911.
