Adrain Max “Dee” Desaire

Wichita – Adrain Max “Dee” Desaire, 85, passed away Monday, November 7, 2022, at Robert J. Dole Medical Center. He was born October 30, 1937, to George and Amy (Garringer) Desaire in Damar, Kan. Loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He served in the U.S. Army and Air Force, was a retired truck driver, had worked in the oil fields and auto sales manager, song writer in his retirement years. Dee enjoyed karaoke, playing cards, writing songs and poems and more than anything, teasing his numerous grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sons: William Desaire and Kenneth George Desaire and son-in-law, Joseph Gerhardt. Dee is survived by his wife of 15 years, Twila Desaire; daughters: Christi (Gary) Wilson, Tammie (Gary) Fischer, Julie (Christopher) John, Melinda (James Manderson) Schoene; sons: David (Nancy) Desaire, Michael (Janet) Schoene; sister: Phyllis Knipp of Dickinson, N.D.; brother: Larry (Betty) Desaire of Olathe, Kan.; 30 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and one greatgreat- grandson. Cremation with Memorial Mass 11:00am Saturday Nov. 19, 2002 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Damar, KS with burial in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Trego County Kansas.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Robert J. Dole Medical Center or American Cancer Society.
