Erin Kathleen Cook and Scott Michael Peavey were married Oct. 29, 2011, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Lenexa, with Father Michael Koller officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mark and Kathie Cook, Lenexa, and Mike and Patti Peavey, Plainville.
Honor attendant was Meg Goth, friend of the bride. Attendants were Jacque Dennihan and Melissa Fornal, both friends of the bride, Jordan Filpovich, Courtney Garlick, Megan Wolf and Katie Zeller, all cousins of the bride.
Best man was Christopher Peavey, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Tyler Brungardt, Dalton Mick, Connor McMullen and Joe Zlatnick, all friends of the groom, Chris Cook and Jeff Cook, both brothers of the bride.
Flower girl was Caroline Blume, cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Andrew Blume, cousin of the bride.
Flowers to Mary girls were Audrey Meredith and Page Forthofer, both cousins of the bride, and Kaleigh and Harper Merrill, both cousins of the groom.
Candlelighters were Katie Lydick and Allie Stankewsky, both friends of the bride. Ushers were Adam Glendening, cousin of the groom and Nick Wolf, cousin of the bride.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in education. She is a middle school reading teacher at Sacred Heart Catholic School, Shawnee.
The bridegroom is a graduate of KU with a bachelor's degree in education. He is pursuing a master's degree in education from KU. He is a social studies teacher at Tonganoxie High School. He is also an assistant football coach and head track coach.
The newlyweds will honeymoon in London and Paris in June. The couple is at home in Lenexa.
