TOPEKA -- Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback today announced the appointment of retired U.S. Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Rodney E. Radcliffe as the Cheyenne County Commissioner for the 2nd District. Radcliffe will complete the term of retiring commissioner Dale Patton.
"Rodney's decorated military career combined with government experience in fiscal management makes him an excellent choice for County Commissioner," said Governor Brownback.
Radcliffe earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Colorado. He served in the Air Force for 28 years. Following his military service, Radcliffe worked as a Fiscal Service Supervisor with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration.
His appointment is effective Jan. 1.
