Harold Paul Wasinger, age 80, went to be with our Lord on Monday, December 8, 2014. He was born September 29, 1934, in Ellis, Kansas, to Dr. Joseph P. Wasinger and Mathilda (Niernberger) Wasinger. He spent most of his childhood in rural Hays, Kansas, where he grew into the steadfast and humble man his family knew and loved.

Upon completing his service, he met Deloris Jean Ziegler, and the two were married on October 12, 1957, in Grainfield, Kansas. He attended Kansas State University and graduated in 1960 with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. He later received his Masters in Electrical Engineering from USC in 1967. His career in aerospace engineering included positions with Northrop, Douglas, McDonnell Douglas, and the Federal Aviation Administration.
He retired in 2004 and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and he loved reading. He will be greatly missed by everyone he knew and loved.
