Students in Fort Hays State University’s Department of Informatics are no stranger to holding their own against students from larger universities in the country.
The Fort Hays State University Alumni Office proudly announced its 2025 commencement award recipients during a press conference Tuesday morning in the Memorial Union. Family, friends, and the FHSU community gathered to celebrate the tremendous achievements of this year’s Torch, Lighthouse, and Pilot Award recipients, recognizing the outstanding efforts and achievements of FHSU students and faculty throughout the 2024-25 academic year.
Fort Hays State University (FHSU) has signed an agreement with DUNIS Africa to launch a cross-border academic program in Dakar, Senegal, beginning in Fall 2025. The cross-border program, fully taught in English and blending the expertise of local faculty with FHSU professors to deliver an education that meets rigorous American academic standards, will enable students to earn an accredited FHSU degree without leaving West Africa.
