Work on the 2026 County Budget was discussed amongst Ellis County Commissioners and staff during on April 15, measures to be taken include the development of departmental budgets, due to the County Administrator on May 16. An initial draft budget is scheduled to be presented to the Commission during the June 3 meeting.
