The Heartland Community Foundation is proud to announce the addition of four new members to its Advisory Board, recognize recent leadership transitions, and introduce a new County Engagement Committee structure designed to welcome more diverse voices to the table. Heartland’s Advisory Board plays a vital role in guiding the Foundation’s mission to improve quality of life across Ellis, Rooks, and Trego counties.

A strategic communication campaign developed by three Fort Hays State University (FHSU) students has earned Second Place in the Kansas Professional Communicators 2025 Communications Contest for “Video for Web, Nonprofit (Group).

Fort Hays State University will honor six outstanding alumni during Homecoming weekend, which is scheduled for September 25-27.

The Kansas Exporter of the Year award is being presented, and the Governor of Kansas has made the trip to present the award in person.
