Brady Evans broke out of his slump in a big way Friday night. Evans, a catcher for the Hays Larks, went 4-for-5 at the plate – including a grand slam and triple – and drove in seven runs in a seven-inning, 22-0 win over the Colorado Springs Outlaws at Larks Park.

Bradley Beal and the Wizards renewed their commitment to each other when he agreed to a fiveyear deal worth up to $251 million to stay in Washington. Whether that commitment will make the next five years any more successful than the last 10 is the big question.
