Rossi and Kuffel Break School Records on Day Two of MIAA Championships

EMPORIA, Kan. - Mattie Rossi and Gretchen Kuffel had record breaking performances on Saturday (May 7) at the MIAA Outdoor Championships. Rossi’s new record came in the 400-meter hurdle prelims, while Kuffel topped the 3,000-meter steeplechase field. Abigail Stewart and Taylor Savolt joined Kuffel in generating points for the FHSU women, while the FHSU men saw team points generated by Ryan Stanley, Jacob Clark, Mark Faber, Jack Pakkebier, Robbie Schmidt, Grant Bradley, and Kolgan Ohl.

Angram-Boldin and Breckbill Receive 2022 NSCA All-American Athlete Award

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Fort Hays State seniors Amari Angram-Boldin (football) and Sara Breckbill (softball) received the 2022 National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) All-American Athlete Award. Both receive the honor based off athletic accomplishments and dedication to strength and training, nominated for the award by Fort Hays State Strength and Conditioning Coach Doug Boucher.
