For 44 years, Gary Wentling has dedicated his time and service to the Optimist Club of Hays, ensuring that the community was taken care of through projects, scholarships and activities. For 36 years, Wentling served as the event coordinator for the Hays Optimist Tri- Star Basketball Competition hosting athletes from Victoria, Ellis and Hays.
