Friday night, the Hays High Indians shut out WAC opponent Dodge City during their 2024 Homecoming game, 26-0. Holden Lind and Ian McGuire highlighted the offense, covering more than 100 yards each in their home victory.
Thomas More Prep-Marian moved to 4-2 on the season Friday night after taking down MCL opponent Oakley in a 28-20 victory, despite injuries to starters in the previous week’s overtime loss to Smith Center. Carson Liles threw for 182 yards in the contest with two touchdowns to lead his team to victory alongside the efforts of receiver Jacob Seib, who notched 88 yards on six receptions with one touchdown.
The Fort Hays State University football team remained unbeaten at home this season after a 38-7 win over Washburn on Saturday night. The Tigers are now 5-0 at Lewis Field Stadium.

Seniors recognized included Shalee Gottschalk, Teagan Gottschalk, Brooke Koenigsman, Macara Rohr, Shyanne Yost, Tessa Wentling and Haley Stecklein.
