Last week, Ellis County Commissioners called for the public’s help in filling a vacancy on the Joint Planning Committee. The Joint Planning Commission, which meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month, reviews and makes recommendations on subdivision plats, zoning changes and conditional use permits.
