Richard "Dick" Wagner, 62, Ness City, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, as a result of a vehicle accident in Ness County.
He was born Sept. 13, 1952, to Raymond and Alma (Becker) Wagner. He was a 1970 graduate of Central Heights High School and from the American Institute of Baking in Manhattan. He earned his bachelor's degree from Malone College in 1994.
He retired after 20 years as maintenance manager of Nickles Bakery in Navarre, Ohio, and the past eight years has run Dad'll Do It handyman service and been involved in many Ness County projects and civic leadership, such as the fair board and the recent Christmas light parade.
Survivors include his wife, Juliana, of the home; two daughters, Heather Wagner and husband, Ivan Rivera, Rochester, N.Y. and Rachelle Wagner and David Luberger, University Heights, Ohio; a brother, Robert Wagner, Lawrence; and two sisters, Jan Collins and husband, Mike, Garden City and Becky Wentzel and husband, Bron, Watertown, Wis.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ness City United Methodist Church.
