Madi Ward, a Buhler High School student who participates in debate and forensics, is guest speaker at this month's National Alliance on Mental Health meeting.

Ward, a state qualifier in debate and forensics and a two-time national qualifier, will present a program of literature titled "Coping Monsterism," featuring the authors Shane Koyczan, Alex Irvine, Davison & Neale, Verna Hildebrand and Jory Baker.

The public is invited to the 7 p.m. meeting Thursday in the lower level of Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, classroom F. After the presentation there will be a NAMI support group for all who are interested.
