Florence Eudy, 86, Ness City, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, at Cedar Village Long Term Care, Ness City.
She was born June 18, 1928, in Ness City to John and Filomena (Leiker) Paul. She graduated from Ransom High School and Salt City Business College, Hutchinson.
She married Herbert E. Myers on Oct. 25, 1948. She later married John E. Eudy. He preceded her in death in 1995. She worked for Boeing for five-and-a-half years and for Boeing again at the Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Fla. She worked for Harkness Insurance in Ness City before moving to Des Moines in 1973. She later worked for Meredith Printing for 12.5 years, retiring in 1988.
She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies and Foxy Belles while in Iowa.
Survivors include a son, Craig Myers and wife, Penny, Ness City; a daughter, Jacque Paul and husband, Robert, Norwalk, Iowa; a stepson, Steve Eudy; a stepdaughter, Patricia Dykstra and husband, Bryce; seven grandchildren, Jason Paul and wife, Kelly, Heather Cotsworth and husband, Brian, Daniel Paul and wife, Veronica, Jerusha Strodthoff and husband, Tom, Dustin Meyers and wife, Kayla, Brady Myers and Nathan Myers; 14 great-grandchildren; the granddog, Bernie; and a stepgrandson, Curt McWherter.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Aloysius Church, Ransom; burial in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery, Ransom.
Visitation will be until 9 p.m. Thursday at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City.
A rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
