Janice E. Arnberger, 72, Oakley, died Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, at Salina Regional Health Center. She was born Sept. 2, 1943, in Benton to Everett and Maxine (Moritz) Nelson.
She married Francis “Babe” Arnberger on Nov. 30, 1961, in Oakley. She worked for Southwestern Bell for 11 years and Oakley Public Schools for 34 years.
She enjoyed playing pitch at the country club, sewing and relaxing at Trenton Lake, watching KU basketball and all of her grandchildrens’ activities.
Survivors include her husband, Babe, Oakley; a son, Blake Arnberger and wife, Kathy, Colby; a sister, Gail Wegele and husband, Leon, Leander, Texas, and three grandchildren, Breck, Kale and Bryce Arnberger.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Curtis Arnberger.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Oakley.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Baalmann Mortuary, Oakley.
A rosary will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
