Following its 26-10 campaign this fall in which it improved by 14 wins from 2013, the Hays High School volleyball team received plenty of recognition from the Western Athletic Conference.

Two players were named to the all-WAC volleyball team in juniors Albany Schaffer and Kylie Brown. Schaffer, the team's starting libero, was named WAC player of the year, while HHS coach Christin Nunnery was named WAC coach of the year. Senior Ashlyn Parrish was named to the honorable mention team.

Joining Schaffer and Brown on the first team was Dodge City senior Macy Mock, Garden City sophomore Abbie Dart and junior Ericka Schafer, and Great Bend senor Regan Unruh.
