COLBY — A south-central Kansas woman was injured after hitting a deer late Saturday night in Thomas County.
Carol A. Dillon, 46, Harper, was driving a 2012 Nissan Versa west on Interstate 70 approximately 14 miles west of Colby when she struck a deer just after 10 p.m. The vehicle came to a stop on the north shoulder.
Dillon was taken to Citizens Medical Center in Colby with possible injuries.
She was wearing a safety restraint, according to the report by the Kansas Highway Patrol.
