The Next Level Skills Camp, a football camp ran by a number of former Kansas State football players, will make two stops in northwest Kansas in July.
The likes of Curry Sexton, Jake Waters and Zach Nemechek will make a July 25 stop in Oakley followed by a July 26 camp in Norton.
“We really enjoy putting on these camps because it gives us the ability to do a number of things,” Sexton said in a release to the HDN. “It allows us to give back to communities who have supported us throughout the years. It also allows us to show kids that they have the opportunity to go on and do great things even if they live in small town Kansas. Not to mention we really enjoy being around the kids and teaching them the game that has been so good to all of us.”
The Oakley camp is set for 9 a.m. to noon for first- through sixth-graders and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for seventh- through 12th-graders.
The times are identical July 26 in Norton.
Registration will take place prior to each session. Cost ranges from $60 for the morning camps and $40 for the afternoon camps. Camp shirts and post-camp snack will be provided, as well as a free raffle for Kansas State gear. Autographs and photos will be available with instructors following each camp.
