ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Fort Hays State University wrestler Trey Page came away with a third-place finish and All-American status during the NCAA Division II National Championships on Friday and Saturday.

Page closed his career with a 13-2 major decision in the 285-pound consolation finals, and finished his season with a 46-3 mark.

The Wichita native was 2-0 in the first day with a 15-0 technical fall and a 4-0 decision. He then lost to top-ranked and defending national champion Ziad Haddad, 6-2.

Page came back with a 10-4 decision in the consolation semifinals after jumping out to an 8-3 lead.

Page is the 35th All-American in FHSU's NCAA history.
