Eugene Milton Reinhardt, 90, Sun City, Ariz., died Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, at Boswell Hospital from an apparent intestinal rupture.

He was born in rural Russell County to Milton and Rose (Karst) Reinhardt.

He married Faye Uhland Hellener in 1947. He later married Barbara Hufft Spacil in 1972. He founded Reinhardt Services, an oil well service company and worked from four stations until his retirement in 1985. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Steven Spacil, South Weber, Utah, and Michael Spacil, Auburn; three daughters, Cynthia Bolinger, Warsaw, Mo., Kim BaxaRumburg, Ulysses and Melanie Weinhold Rehmert, Dodge City; his grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. June 4 at the Dole-Specter Conference Room at the Fossil Creek Inn in Russell.

Military rites will be performed by the Russell Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 6240. A private burial in the Russell City Cemetery will take place before the celebration. Memorials are suggested to Shriners Hospital for Children or Pitty Paws Bully Rescue of Phoenix in care of Royal Oaks, 9915 Royal Oak Road No. 1062, Sun City, AZ. 85351. Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell, is in charge of the memorial services.
