Mark Clyde Metz, 65, Plainville, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016.

He was born Feb. 23, 1950, Omaha, Neb., to Betty and Cecil Metz.

He retired from Cars Counselors in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., as a car salesman in 1997.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret; a brother, Jay Metz; a sister, Carla Blanchett; a niece, Amy; a newphew, Sam Sherid; and Sarah and Rachel.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandparents, Carl and Iolyne Richards.

Services will be a 1:30 a.m. Wednesday at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, Salina.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday with family receiving friends from 4 to 6 p.m. at the chapel.

Memorials are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in care of the mortuary.
