The Fort Hays State women's golf team finished in 10th place Tuesday at the MIAA Fall Preview at the Jefferson City Country Club in Jefferson City, Mo. Twelve MIAA programs and 65 individuals competed at the two-day tournament.

The Tigers finished with a team score of 702 (126 over-par) after shooting 351 on both days. Northeastern State topped the tournament's standings with a team score of 612 (36 over-par). The Tigers finished one stroke better than Southwest Baptist and 42 strokes better than last-place finisher Lincoln, the tournament host.

Freshman Hannah Perkins led the Tigers with a final score of 158 after rounds of 81 and 77, enough to place in a tie for 17th.

Freshman Kylie McCarthy finished 50th with a final score of 179. Freshman Kylie McCarthy finished five shots back in a tie for 52nd with junior Quillen Eichorn. Sophomore Hadley Tharp finished in 60th with a score of 191.

The Tigers are back in action Oct. 5-6 at the RCB UCO Classic in Edmond, Okla.
