The Monarchs fell 3-2 to St. Pius X, Kansas City, in their first outing Friday, before bouncing back with a 3-1 win against K.C.-Bishop Ward on Saturday.

Saturday, TMP allowed an early goal and trailed 1-0 at halftime before the Monarchs rallied with three unanswered in the second. Sophomore Ethan Lang scored the first on the assist from Stults. Hernandez then scored again on the assist from Stults. Junior Michael Braun scored on a free kick to set the final margin, earning the Monarchs third place.
Hernandez, Lang and Braun each made the all-tournament team.
The Monarchs return to action at Maize South on Sept. 6. TMPís first scheduled home games is on Sept. 20 against St. Johnís Military academy.
