Norbert Feldt, 86, Dodge City, formerly of Park, died Monday, Jan. 25, 2016, at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City.

He was born May 22, 1929, in Park to Anton and Anna (Reinert) Feldt.

He married Louise Goetz on May 15, 1951, in Park. He was a farmer and stockman.

He was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Fourth Degree member of Knights of Columbus Council No. 2955, both in Dodge City.

Survivors include his wife, Dodge City; three sons, Leon Feldt, Dodge City, Richard Feldt and wife, Renee, North Richland Hills, Texas, and Lloyd Feldt and wife, Katie, Monroe, Iowa; three daughters, Kay Heier and husband, Jim, Park, Norma Groth and husband, Don, Buhler, and Janese Williams and husband, Darin, Canyon, Texas; two brothers, Pete Feldt and wife, Margaret, Hoyt Lakes, Minn., and Anthony Feldt, Park; a sister, Bette Younger, Fort Collins, Colo.; a daughter-in-law, Patrice Feldt, Dodge City; two sisters-in-law, Margie Feldt, Grinnell, and Lois Feldt, Garden City; 21 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, D.J. Feldt; a daughter-in-law, Kim Feldt, three brothers, Jerome, Cletus and John “Jack” Feldt; and two sisters, Anna Marie Huelsman and Teresa Benton.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dodge City; inurnment will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Park.

There will be no public viewing; cremation has taken place. Friends can sign the register from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City.

A vigil, followed by Knights of Columbus rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel.

Memorials are suggested to Sacred Heart School Endowment Fund in care of the funeral chapel.
