On Tuesday August 3, 2022 Joyce Ann (Winkler) Misiag, loving wife and mother of 4 passed away at the age of 72. Joyce was born on June 4, 1950 to Francis and Wilburma Winkler of Oberlin, Kansas. She graduated from Oberlin High School and went on to receive her nursing degree from Washburn University. She was a practicing pediatric, home health, and hospice nurse for 40 years. On October 28 of 2000, she married Thomas Misiag, of Aiken, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents Francis and Wilburma (Shields) Winkler, her twin sister Janet Sue (Winkler) Waddell and a granddaughter Tess Rose Johnson. She is survived by her husband Tom and her four children, Jessica (Brandon) Johnson, Kristopher (Anna Beth) Marintzer, Cody (Karen) Marintzer, and Shiloh (Adrian) Martinez. She has 15 grandchildren whom she adored: Tucker, Jersey and Cooper Johnson, Mason, Miles and Meryn Marintzer, Caleb, Mattias, Joshua, Catherine, Benjamin, Cecilia and Augustin Marintzer and Isabel and Sebastian Martinez. She also had a nephew, Joshua (Tina) Wadell, who she thought of as her own.

A funeral service will take place on August 13th, at the Hays Memorial Chapel, in Hays KS. Viewing and visitation at Hays Memorial Chapel from 9:00-10:00. Funeral and burial directly following.
