The Hays Larks took two out of three against the Colorado Sox, ending the series with an 8-4 win on Sunday night at Larks Park.

The Larks improved to 3-1 behind a strong start from Michael Wong, who went seven innings, allowing one run on six hits with no walks and four strikeouts.

Wyatt Divis drove in the Larks' first run with a sacrifice fly in the first. Hays tacked on another in the second off a Colorado error and Daryl Myers hit a solo home run in the fifth to give the Larks a 3-1 lead.

The Larks broke it open in the eighth after back-to-back home runs from Matt Munoz and Walter Pennington pushed the lead to 8-1.

The Larks have an off day on Monday before opening Jayhawk League play at 7 p.m. Tuesday night in Great Bend.
