The Fort Hays Singers, the FHSU Concert Choir and the Smoky Hill Chorale will combine to present this year’s Choral Masterworks Concert, "A Rutter Spectacular," at 7:30 p.m. May 6 in the Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center

The first half of the concert will feature the separate choirs performing short works by the British choral composer John Rutter. The second half of the concert will be his “Gloria.” The choirs will be joined by eight brass and two percussion members of the Department of Music and Theatre, and local organist Tom Meagher. Terry Crull, FHSU director of choral activities, will conduct.

The Choral Masterworks Concert is free of charge to the public.
