Bethesda Place is canceling its Garden Day that was scheduled for Saturday because of road conditions.

Jarod and Amanda Tippy, managers of Bethesda Place, said this week’s rain has made the road to the farm unpassable and flooded the parking area.

“While we thank God for this BEAUTIFUL rain, unfortunately it has made our road unpassable and our park area a pond.  Not foreseeing any opportunity for it to dry out between now and Saturday we are canceling the event with the hope to notify as many as possible in the public so they do not risk the road,” Amanda Tippy said in an email to The Hays Daily News.

The men of Bethesda will sell their fresh eggs, homegrown spring vegetables, potted flowers, succulents and herbs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of High Plains Baptist Church, 2700 Canterbury.
