RUSSELL — The second annual Downtown Russell Market pop-up event will take place June 15 on the Saturday before Father’s Day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Held outdoors on the bricks in downtown Russell, the event will host vendors selling collectibles, antiques, artwork, crafts, food, clothing and many items homemade, handmade and homegrown.
Organized by Russell Main Street Inc., a non-profit dedicated to downtown Russell, vendors will offer sidewalk sales and specials.
Booths are reserved first-come first-serve. The planning committee will determine booth location and contact each vendor prior to the event with a location map.
More than 1,000 spectators are expected, including for a Father’s Day Softball Tournament.
The organizers are inviting vendors of all categories. The booths will be set up in the parking stalls
between 6th and 8th streets while downtown businesses use the sidewalks there for sales and specials.
Cost per vendor booth is $30 for non-members and $20 for members. Booth space is approximately 12 feet by 15 feet. Booths will be set-up before 8:30 am the day of the event, with set-up starting at 7 a.m., unless prior arrangements are made.
The event will take place rain or shine, say the organizers.
Each vendor is responsible for all their own display tables, racks, tents and other equipment. Power is limited to food vendors only for an additional $10 fee. All food trucks/vendor trailers must call to make arrangements prior to registering.
