Forrest E. Frazey, 97, Hoxie, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2019, at Sheridan County Health Complex, Hoxie.
He was born Oct. 23, 1922, in Dresden, to Joseph and Troy (Carr) Frazey.
On July 26, 1942, he married Lillian (Morgan) Frazey in Colby.
He was a heavy equipment operator and was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II.
He is survived by two sons, Lynn Frazey, Palm Coast, Fla., and Gary Frazey, Owasso, Okla., a daughter, Clara Lou Spillman, Hoxie, 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his parents; his wife; a son Tim Frazey; two brothers, Warren and Zane Frazey; and three sisters, Bertha Liester, Ramona Frazey and Rose Carder.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Hoxie United Methodist Church. Burial in Hoxie City Cemetery following the service. Military rites by U.S. Army Honor Guard of Fort Riley.
Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home.
