Linda Kay (Coody) Novotny, 70, Russell, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017, at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital, Wichita.
She was born Dec. 26, 1946, in Delhi, La., to H.E. and Shirley (Clifton) Coody. She was a 1966 graduate of Epps High School.
She married Edmo Jean Novotny on Sept. 7, 1982, in Las Vegas. For 35 years, she was a sales executive for the Heritage Company in selling office supplies and advertising merchandise.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sisters, Gloria June Clark, Tescott and Elsie Lee Felker, Vicksburg, Miss.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Hays; burial in Hoisington City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday with family greeting guests from 6 to 7 p.m. at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell.
Memorials are suggested to American Heart Association or Russell Regional Hospital Campaign For Excellence, in care of the mortuary.
