Marcella D. Albers, 86, Oakley, died Saturday, March 10, 2018, at her home.
She was born Nov. 24, 1931, in Sheridan County to Levi and Margaret (Trembley) Ribordy. She attended Harmony Grade School in Sheridan County and later received her GED from Colby Community College.
She married Ralph Albers on Nov. 24, 1948, in Grainfield.
Survivors include her husband, Oakley; four sons, Marvin Albers and wife, Bette, and Chris Albers and wife, Terri, all of Oakley, Stan Albers, Hoxie, and Lynn Albers and wife, Vivian, Pagosa Springs, Colo.; four daughters, Eulalia Muschik and husband, Gary, Union Bridge, Md., Vickie Farney and husband, Rich, Wilson, Elaine Ptacek and husband, Ken, Colby, and Sandy Moore and husband, Monty, Monument; two sisters, Maryann Racette and Rita Huffman; 22 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Oakley; burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Baalmann Mortuary, Oakley.
A vigil will be at 7 p.m. at the mortuary.
Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic School in care of the mortuary.
