Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Schmitt Funeral Home, WaKeeney; inurnment in WaKeeney City Cemetery.

There will be no viewing or visitation as cremation was chosen.

Cheryl A. Varwig, 62, Colby, died Saturday, March 17, 2018, at her home in Willis, Texas.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kersenbrock Funeral Chapel, Colby; inurnment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Colby.

There will be no visitation as cremation has been chosen.

Arnetta L. Nevins, 85, Osborne, died Friday, March 16, 2018, at Osborne County Memorial Hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Clark-Gashaw Chapel, Osborne; burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Mount Olive Cemetery, near Bogue.

Visitation will be until 7 p.m. Thursday with family present from 4 to 7 p.m. at the chapel.

Larry E. Baldwin, 71, Zurich, died Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Rooks County Health Center, Plainville

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at United Methodist Church, Plainville; burial in Green Mound Cemetery, near Palco.

Visitation will be until 8 p.m. Thursday with family receiving friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, Plainville.

Ryan William Struss, 35, WaKeeney, died Thursday, March 1, 2018, in WaKeeney.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, WaKeeney; burial will take place at a later date.

Justin Joseph “J.J.” Deges, 39, died Sunday, March 11, 2018, in rural Chapman; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Damar.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Damar; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Damar.

Visitation will be until 4 p.m. Thursday at Stinemetz Funeral Home, Hill City, from 5 to 7 p.m. and 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, both at the church. A wake will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the church.
