Victor “Vic” Francis Kinderknecht, 81, WaKeeney, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018.
He was born June 18, 1937, in Ellis to Jacob and O’tillia (Bittel) Kinderknecht. He graduated from Ellis High School.
He married Sylvia (Eberle) on Oct. 18, 1967, in Ellis. She preceded him in death. He was a car salesman for Harries Motor Co. and Unruh Chevrolet for more than 35 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran stationed in Germany.
Survivors include a son, Eric Kinderknecht, WaKeeney; four daughters, Sara Dunn and Tina Walt, both of WaKeeney, Michelle Wilson, Oakley, and Edwina Kinderknecht, Seiberg, Germany; a brother, Ralph Kinderknecht; a sister, Beatina Weber; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Christ the King Catholic Church, WaKeeney; burial in Christ the King Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Schmitt Funeral Home, WaKeeney.
A vigil/rosary will be at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to Trego County-Lemke Memorial Long Term Care outside garden or Hospice of Phillipsburg in care of the funeral home.
