Gilbert Kent Selfridge, 64, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018, at Hays Medical Center.

He was born Feb. 21, 1954, in Garden City to Gilbert Lee and Lila Ann (Dyer) Selfridge. He was a 1972 graduate of Dighton High School.

He was a farmer until 1996 when he moved to WaKeeney and worked at a convenience store and monument company. In 1998, he moved back to Dighton to work for Jerry Sharp and later Adams Dirt Construction. In 2004, he moved to Hays and La Crosse in 2011 and back to Hays in 2014. 

He was a member of the Free Tomorrow Motorcycle Club for 34 years. 

Survivors include three sons, William Selfridge, Hoisington, Patrick Selfridge and wife, Anne, Otis, and Kerry Selfridge and wife, Brandy, Hutchinson; a daughter, Tanya Adamson and husband, Jared, Salina; a brother, Brian Selfridge, Dighton; his twin brother, Paul Selfridge, Sunnyside, Wash.; three sisters, Susan Daniels, Leavenworth, Shelley Selfridge, Dighton, and Jill Obrock, Kingman; 13 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at United Methodist Church, Dighton; burial in Dighton Memorial Cemetery.
