Donald ‘Don’ E. William, 90, Hoxie, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2018, at Sheridan County Health Complex Long Term Care, Hoxie.
He was born Oct. 9, 1928, in rural Sheridan County to Lorenzo L. and Ada R. (Selbe) William. He married Helen E. Mowry on Dec. 6, 1948, in Hoxie.
He owned William Tire Shop and Don’s Auto Sales and other small businesses.
He is survived by his wife, of the home; two sons, Jerry William, Cleveland, Ohio, and Dan William, Hoxie; two daughters, Janice Brown, Hoxie, and Marisa Fleenor, Mission Hills; a sister, Myrtle Prussner, Clifton, Ill.; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ronald William; and two sisters, Ina Taylor and Norma Ackerman.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hoxie United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home, Hoxie, with family receiving friends from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Burial in Hoxie City Cemetery.
