Charles Robert “Charlie, Chuck” Easton, 82, Quinter, died Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at his home.

He was born Aug. 20, 1936, in Quinter to Norris Charles and Edna (Spillman) Easton. He was a 1954 graduate of Quinter High School.

He married Nancy (Russell) Methvin on Oct. 16, 1965. He later married Judy (Magers) Guy on July 1, 1989, in Norton. He worked for Flex-King and Samuel Flora, building up a herd of Holstein heifers and started his own dairy in 1971 until retiring in 2005. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving for four years, stationed in Japan most of that time.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Charlie Easton, Selden, and Abe Easton, Ulysses; two daughters, Becky Pajer, Roseville, Calif., and Sherri Beske, Pittsburg; two sisters, Judy Farquer, Newton, and LeAnna Base, Hutchinson; a stepson, JT Guy, Abilene; a stepdaughter, Joani Killen, Dade City, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one on the way; a great-great-grandson; a great-great-granddaughter; and his ex-spouse, Nancy Methvin.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Quinter Church of the Brethren; inurnment will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Kansas Veterans’ Cemetery, WaKeeney. with military honors provided by U.S. Air Force Honor Guard.
