Kenneth Karl Orth, 75, longtime resident of Woodland Park, died Friday, May 24, 2019, in his Woodland Park home from a lengthy battle with cancer.

He was born October 25, 1943, in Hays, to Carl Orth and Elizabeth (Seitz) Orth.

He married Virginia (Brungardt) Orth on Feb. 3, 1964. She preceded him in death. They moved to Woodland Park in 1976 and had lived there ever since.

He spent his life as a self-employed machinist and he was a master craftsman who was devoted to his family. His passions were being an avid outdoorsman, hunting, fishing and he was a gun collector.      

Survivors include three sons, Karl Orth and wife, Andrea, Scott Orth and David Orth; a daughter, Jennifer Wiseman; four grandchildren, Karisa (Joey Bebb) Williams, Lindsey (Yusuf) Hasan, Sarah Orth and Ryan Orth; two sisters, Betty Huschka and Carol Dielh; a great-grandson, Braedon Williams; and a close friend, Loni Anderson.

He was preceeded in death by his parents; a daughter in law, Lisa Orth; a sister, Martha Schulte; a brother, Marvin Orth; and two infant siblings.

Services will be at noon Friday at Our Lady of the Woods Catholic Church, Woodland Park, Colo.; burial in Fairview Cemetery, Colorado Springs, Colo.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Blunt Mortuary, Colorado Springs, Colo.

A rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.
