Lamanda Marie (Lodovici) Bennegfield, 74, Wichita, died Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at Harry Hynes Hospice at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.
She was born May 2, 1945, in Hays to Olinto “Shine” and Viola (Schmidtberger) Lodovici. She was a 1963 graduate of Victoria High School and attended Butler County Community College in El Dorado.
She married Billy Wayne Bennegfield in 1974. He preceded her in death in 1977. She retired in 2013 from the VA Hospital in Wichita as a certified nurse assistant and phone operator.
She attended the Catholic churches in Wichita.
Survivors include four children, Erica McIntyre, Chrystal Bennegfield, Nicole Bennegfield and Rhett Bennegfield, all of Wichita; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Dennis Lodovici, Palmdale, Calif.; four sisters, Sharon Lodovici, Wichita, Anita Englert and husband, Gary, Topeka, Vicki Martin and husband, Tom, and Gail Flax and husband, Danny, all of Las Vegas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Michael Lodovici; and a sister-in-law, Jean Lodovici.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Basilica of St. Fidelis, Victoria; inurnment will be in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria.
