Pearl Mary Leiker, 88, Munjor, died Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at Hays Medical Center.

She was born June 5, 1931, in Liebenthal to Andrew Joseph and Josephine (Depperschmidt) Herrman.

She married Edward P. Leiker on May 22, 1950, in Liebenthal. He preceded her in death Aug. 22, 2013.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and pinochle, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and Christian Mothers, all of Munjor.

Survivors include two sons, Eugene E. Leiker and Tobie Pince, Hays, and John E. Leiker and wife, Deanna, Munjor; three daughters, Joann Haddock and husband, Jack, and Christine Johnson and husband, Dennis, all of Munjor, and Judy Farley and husband, Terry, Sydney, Australia; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Gilbert J. and Elmer Herrman; and five sisters, Irene Schmitt, Theresa Lewis, Cleopha Leiker, Dorothy Davenport and Virginia Andrasek.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Munjor; burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 to 9:30 a.m., both at Brock's-Keithley Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 2509 Vine, Hays, KS 67601.

A combined Munjor Christian Mothers rosary and vigil will be at 7 p.m. Monday, both at the funeral chapel.

Memorials are suggested to St. Francis of Assisi Church in care of the funeral chapel.
