Kenneth Lee Oberkrom, 89, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019, at SunPorch Nursing Home, Smith Center.
He was born Jan. 25, 1930, in Linn, Mo., to Charles Lee and Leona Anna (Pinet) Oberkrom.
He married Nadine Shoemaker Moss in 1973. They later divorced. He married Rose Mary Niehaus in 1991. She died in 2010.
He is survived by a stepson, Jim Moss, Smith Center; stepdaughters Jennifer Richmeier and Kathy Bashford, both of Brooksville, Fla., Marie Lee, Prairie Park, Ky., Carla Cochrun, Agra; and Jonilyn Campbell, Kensington; a brother, Harold Oberkrom, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and three sisters, Irma Hunter, Blue Springs, Mo., and Edna Armstrong and Leona Singleton, both of Kansas City, Mo; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceeded in death by his parents; three brothers, Charles, Floyd and Glenn; and four sisters, Nadine, Vleda, Juanita and Gertrude.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Stinemetz Funeral Home, Hill City; burial in Fairview Church Cemetery, Linn, Mo. There is no visitation.
